Dojo

Enter... The Dojo!

Welcome to the Dojo! I trust that the progress from the Training Grounds till here has been smooth? well, here's where it gets really interesting (and confusing too)! Not to worry, I'll guide you through this! Hang tight!

On first look, the Dojo isn't very much different from the Training Grounds in terms of the mice encountered. However, there are a few very important new mice here! You'll come across 'Student Mice' of the 3 disciplines: cheese belt, cheese claw and cheese fang. These mice are your main concern in the Dojo, as they drop tokens of their respective discipline. Accumulating these tokens is a necessity for progressing to the Meditation Room.

Let's talk about trap set-up for a moment. Nothing very much has changed so you should have your mutated venus mouse trap along with your dehydration/fan base and brie.

Note: Maki cheese may be used here to significantly increase the attraction rate of student mice. However, magic essence is required to craft it (meaning smashing SB+) and is considered too expensive of a luxury to use in large quantities for now. However, in the later stage of the game, hunters doing the "Furoma/MOJO run" are encouraged to use maki in order to speed up the token collection process. Recipe for maki cheese: 3 magic essence + 3 curds and whey + 1 nori = 3 pieces of maki

Next, we are now concerned with catching Student Mice. Generally, they are slightly stronger than most mice you encounter in the Dojo. However, they drop important loot known as tokens:

  • Student of Cheese Claw: Drops Token of the Cheese Claw
  • Student of Cheese Fang: Drops Token of the Cheese Fang
  • Student of Cheese Belt: Drops Token of the Cheese Belt
Once you've collected roughly 15 of each token, it's time to do some shopping to craft new cheese! Visit the General Store at the Training Grounds and Bazaar for the crafting supplies. Here are the recipes:

Susheese (3 pieces)

3 Tokens of the Cheese Claw
3 Curds and Whey
1 Nori
1Burroughs Salmon

Combat (3 pieces)

3 Tokens of the Cheese Fang
5 Curds and Whey
1 Splintered Wood
1 Paint-Brand Paint

Gluter (3 pieces)

3 Tokens of the Cheese Belt
7 Curds and Whey
1 Invisi-glu
1 Cheesy Fluffs

These new cheese are required to attract the respective Masters in the Meditation Room. Taking into account that you have 15 of each token to begin with, you should end up with 15 of each cheese. This is just an estimate, you should be able to catch the Masters within this amount. I believe in you!

One more thing before leaving the Dojo: you may have been lucky enough to catch an Assassin or a Worker Mouse that dropped the Ambush Trap Blueprints. Those are required to craft the new tactical trap: the Ambush Trap! If you haven't gotten it here, not to worry, you can always loot it from the Hapless mice that are extremely common in the Meditation Room!

Time to face the Masters... to the Meditation Room!
